MEA

• The installation of equipment and tanks for the production of a new product, MEA, and the necessary piping systems at the K&P Chem plant in Szolnok. Construction of a reinforced concrete dam for the new tank farm, addition of walkways in the existing building C, construction of a new pipe bridge between building C and the new tank farm.

Special circumstances:

• The work was a brownfield investment project with part of the construction work to be carried out within the existing and operational Building C, while the plant continued to produce. There were dimensional differences between the plans and the reality, which had to be dealt with during the design and construction of the pipe bridge.
